LOCAL BUSINESSMAN RESCUES THE BELL AT HARDWICK

It was business as usual at The Bell public house in Hardwick when it reopened on Saturday 8 December.

Andy Sewter, who lives in Hardwick , has taken over the lease of the pub which has been closed since the summer. Cullum Boland is the new manager.

The Bell is serving drinks only at present but buffet food can be provided to order and they expect to have a full menu up and running early in the new year. There will also be special events and the monthly Hardwick quiz will recommence on 9th January then every first Wednesday of the month.

Further information about forthcoming events can be found on the pub’s website at thebellathardwick.com.

Andy said “ I am very pleased to be able to facilitate the reopening of the Bell. The pub is right at the heart of the community in villages such as Hardwick and this is the first step in our plan to buck the depressing trend of pub closures in Buckinghamshire and provide a service for people throughout the county.”
